Women's Part in Battle
There were a lot
of women who had loved ones in the American army and they became part of the
army as nurses, cooks, taking out the dead, washing, cleaning up, and bandaging
wounded. Women became will important in part of the war.
Simon Fraser who was a General and he was shot with a fatal wound and his wife lady Aclan and she stayed there comforting him until he finally passed away. As he lied there dying he felt guilty that he was concerned he would hurt his family. He died at 8 in the morning and was kept in the tent saddening the family. Generals wish was to be buried at 6 o’clock. He requested that his funeral should be attended only by the officers of his personal staff. His burial service was conducted by Revernd Edward Brued Nell. This shows how this woman took part in this army by help establishing his funeral.
